Office applications keep closing

Every time I open a Microsoft Office application they just close for no reason, Word, Access and Outlook ect. I am running Windows 2000 with service pack 3.

Any ideas why this would happen. I have an up to date vurus checker so can't see it being a virus.

do you have Ms project installed ?? also what service pack is your office and i take it its office 2k

It's closing completely, I have SP3, project is installed.

right its to do with project you need to install project first then office if i remember correctly i have had this problem about 4 or 5 times now on different machines
