i got a 3M one here, its not bad, but i think there are some newer, better ones available.

they are wicked for PS2 as well.

Go for high lumens one if your room ain't completely dark.

... we were thinking that high resolution would also be good for playing DVDs

No problems with the 3M one then ??

Only one recommendation - look *hard* at the lamp life and cost, and find out if it's field-reparable (i.e. you can do it yourself). We had a lamp go after about 10hrs use - spat glass shards out through the cooling vents - and cost us £300 to replace. That wasn't it's quoted lifespan, of course, but you can still count the money draining away as you use it. Fortunately, ours didn't have to be shipped off to a qualified repairer - embarrassing if you've got a customer demo to give.

Tell me bout it we have supplied 2 x bulbs to the same company recently average cost was 300 -350 per bulb (it is nearly worth buying a new projector now) some of the new ones have a redundant bulb which helps.
