I want to take the nuttons out of the PS2 & extend the cable BUT this does not appear to work !
Can anyone tell me if this is possible please & how to do it

What do you mean? Extend the controller? if so you can buy an extension cable.

I sense someone is installing a PS2 into their car!

I'm only guessing due to questions about running a laptop on a Kenwood in-car screen!

Sounds like a PS2 install and a laptop for Motec mapping, all being displayed onto an in-car screen! Am I close Paul??
