Humour me: Xbox & BT ADSL
#1
Hi all,
In one room, I have BT Openworld ADSL using the Alcatel USB modem. The machine with the ADSL modem also has a wireless access point attached allowing me to surf the web from my notebook in another room.
What is the most straight-forward way to get the Xbox to use the ADSL connection. Can I connect it to the laptop and use its wireless connection to the ADSL linked machine ?
Next, assuming I get the Xbox connected, is their any configuration required to get it on-line. I cannot see any network settings within the Xbox console menus.
Thanks
Rod

Thanks all,
so in theory, if my ADSL USB modem is plugged into machine A which in turn has a wireless access point which allows machine B to use the internet, connecting a hub to machine B and the Xbox to the hub should allow the Xbox to connect to the internet ?
