GTA3 on XP

Just got a geforce 4 128

GTA3 is not runnin text ie menus and writen text in the game

any ideas are welcome - boo hoo hoo

then again XP won't be on very long - what a piece of sh1te

Run msconfig
Click on advanced tab,hide microsoft items and disable all other items
Restart pc & you will be ok, though everything else won't load ie firewall etc......

BaldyMan,

I had the exact same problem running the exact same hardware and the exact same sofware (OS).

All I did was un-installed GTA3 and re-installed it again and it appeared to fix the bug.

The text thing is a known error on XP, and there should be a part of the readme file about it.
