We're looking to install a phone system. Currently need 5 lines with 14 extensions, but upgradable to more lines and about 40 extensions. Does anyone know anything about these?? Who can recommend whatever they use??

(Avaya) SDX Index or Norstar Modular should do it.
If you could cope with using ISDN2 for your trunks (lines), there are some dirt cheap Samsung systems around (~£300 IIRC for a 2xn and they're stackable).
