guys,
Ime just doing some credit card validation routines and I seem to remember switch cards can have more than 16 digits but I dont have one and no-one here to verify that, so can anyone tell me how many digits are on a switch card?
Cheers
Gary

Switch cards have the format:
6759 xxxxxx yyyyyyyy zz
where xxxxxx is the sort code of the bank account, yyyyyyyy is the account number, and zz is an extra two optional digits which some cards (such as my HSBC one) have, and some don't.

If I allow up to 19 should be ok then?
not sure if the mod 10 checksum code will work against it, need to 'borrow' a couple of switch cards to find out!
