Unhappy

Hi All

I have some AT/Scheduled tasks on a server running NT 4. They have all stopped working and I cant figure out why. All the jobs do is kick off some FTP scripts(batch files) to copy some stuff off other servers.

Now the batch files work fine if you just run them, but if you try to run them as a scheduled task they dont work. They get as far as the password prompt(for the server they are logging onto) and stop.

All network connections etc are fine, I have a feeling this is something to do with SYSTEM account or account related??

any ideas

cheers

Andy

Have you tried changing one to run under the administrator account to prove your theory?

Also check the scheduler service is running.

cheers,

Phil

nope,

all the admin accounts got locked though and the machine had to be booted off a disk to unlock it. Im guessing its some rights access thing? the run as SYSTEM type check box is greyed over now though - not even an option.

Make sure the system has the 'logon as a service' right?

Cheers,
