couple of ways to copy your files/data from old PC to new...

1/ fit a cdrw drive on old PC and burn your data on cdr/w disk.

2/ if both PC got a network card, you can get a cross over cable to connect both PC together, therefore can copy data across.

3/ use a laplink type cable. again similar to 2/

4/ remove HDD from old PC and connect it to new PC. copy data across to new PC.

old software *should* work with XP. some wont like cdrw software. you will need to double check with the software company.
