Never done this myself. Is this different from formatting any other dard disk? Do I just FDISK then reformat, do I need to use any particular boot disk to do this (ie. Will a Win98 boot disk be able to fdisk NTFS partitioned drive)

Any help gratefully received.

TIA

Fdisk on a W98 boot floppy will see the NTFS partition (should indentify it as NTFS as well).

Just delete it and create a new FAT32 partition.
