Question

Just bought a new mouse (PC variety). Installed it but the scroller doesn't work...messed around for ages with it. Normal buttons seem to work...best I managed though was for the scroll button to work...when the mouse was upside down!!!

OK, when you go to the mouse settings in Control Panel, does it let you define what the wheel will do?

If so, how have you set it?

Reply with as much info as poss on what you have done so far (rather than "I've tried everything") and I'll see what help I can offer.

Figment,

Thanks for your assistance on this one! I solved the problem by changing the mouse at PC world for a Microsoft one - which works perfectly.

Thanks again

Well, that's one way of solving it

Ive never been one for buying cheapest, find with the 'better' brands setup and use is so much easier.
