Anyone got a half decent server list I can import into GameSpy ? I haven't played for ages, and have found most of the one's I had are now defunct

Only advice if you are extremely good, is to identify yourself as Scoobynetter to XSTi when you first jump on as sometimes the mods are itchy to keep the cheatfree status

I just use the games built in search to locate the best servers for the map I want to play. The latest version of CS seems to handle this alot better than the early versions ever did.
Last time I used gamespy my machine died a death so I haven't reinstalled it since.

213.38.43.157:27015 - ORC UK - nice server that boots you if your K ratio gets too low, nice map rotation
80.69.6.100:27015 - Muppets - FF nearly always on and again, nice map rotation
and any of the jolt.co.uk servers (I'm only 4 hops from them so get sub 30ms pings)
also watch out for Teknohippy - sit opposite him @ work and often go on the same team as him, he is fairly good. I am just cannon fodder!

oh yes, I was also told in a game the other week by a helpful 13 year old that at 28 wasn't I a little old to be playing counterstrike.....

You should hear them cry when I kill 'em.
Hilarious when the voice com pipes up some 11 year old squeaking away.
I always ask if they pay half fare on the bus.

Used to have fun on wireplay asking the kids if it was time they went and did their homework. Got told "dont be stupid, I havent got any homework, it half-term" once .

Yes, today work involves sitting drinking coffee while a nice new Compaq DL360G2 does a FreeBSD releng_4_7 buildworld, then onto install mail servers to send lotsa of lovely itv.com mail to people...
