Erm, considering that

a) XP Home edition is sh*te

b) You can buy a copy of XP Home from Dabs.com for £139+vat

c) there are more hooky copies of XP out there than there are legit ones

d) most PCs come with a copy of XP Home anyway these days

...I suspect you're unlikely to find any takers at that price, I'm afriad.

Erm, considering that

a) XP Home edition is sh*te "interesting seeing as every home PC now has this & is probably better than Win 95,98 & me"

b) You can buy a copy of XP Home from Dabs.com for £139+vat "probably can but that a £163 & I'm throwing in the extra XP disc for free, so its still cheaper & a better deal"

c) there are more hooky copies of XP out there than there are legit ones
"agree wholeheartedly"
d) most PCs come with a copy of XP Home anyway these days "again true but like me some people may want to upgrade!"

...I suspect you're unlikely to find any takers at that price, I'm afriad. "Don't be afraid, if I sell it I sell it if I don't it won't make any difference to my life......just some poor person missing out on a great deal!"

Thanks for the help with this MarkO, you've really inspired me with your positive & helpful hints on how to sell items.....Next time I'll run the ad by you first

I bought XP pro and an optical moose from Scan for £150.
They mistakenly sent me 2 copies of Pro and I got £110 for Pro on the auctions, so yours does seem overpriced.
Harsh words tho Marko - hangover kicking in was it?

LOL. 3 years ag "every home PC" had Win98 or 95, but I'd hardly say that gives any indication of the quality of those operating systems.

And Father Jack - I don't drink.

Would you expect to buy a new computer without the latest O/S???
No..But hard luck for the moment.XP Home is so bad its untrue.
Take it off and use 2000.

You should get about 120 quid for it.

I agree, people who repeatedly slate XP obviously have no idea what they are talking about IMO. I was the same, for about all of 2 days! I have pretty well converted ever other bugg3r that has said the same.
Most people simply say that they don't like it due to the default GUI. Anyone with half a brain in his head can sort this out permenantly in less than 30 seconds

Don't be so narrow minded, like most people

Cheers,

Nick
