remove the mains plug before you go home and then switch the PSU to 110 volts, make sure your not the first person to use the pc.
Stand well back and watch the fireworks when someone re-inserts power lead.

agreed puff,
south-star if it uses a single binary file (ISAM) to store the data then get a hex editor and change a few bytes, bound to corrupt one of the chains or if it uses something like FoxPro / DBase you can delete records or again open with a hex editor and change one of the header bytes (I think about the first 24) and then the file wont even open.

Be a bit careful, some companies run old legacy software
on old machines because it would cost a fortune to have it
re-written to work on current standard operating systems.
Dont wont to lose your job if they found out it was you.

also - make sure you stick a standard ruler in to the right side of the floppy dive, it will lock as if a disk is in, slows down the person trying to fix it..

Its not the PC, its the program he wants to wreck...
Being a db system you need to find a way of corrupting the data - often. This causes downtime & agravation & will lead to an upgrade process.

There's also a mechanical printer involved. That may be easier to "damage".
If i bridged a microchip inside, would that be traceable?
btw,i aint a computer expert.
Thanks....
