I would like to get a new job in IT

BUT

as sent 100s of CV's and the main experience I have is retail I'm getting rejected as always saying not enough experience.
I think I know a lot of things about comp. but can't properly prove it on the CV where the 1st and main judgment is made.
I always knew it'll be hard but there must be something I didn't try yet or using the wrong approach or or or...

I've signed up with 14 recruitment agencies which I thought is the way to go...

Any ideas what I should try or even better any vacancies

Thanks
Robert

Robert,
Things are tough out there at the moment, lots of good expereinced people looking for work, so I am sure you know that you face an up hill battle.
Understand that you have registered with 14 agencies, but have you tried posting your CV on Planetrecruit.com, Jobserve.com, gojobsite.com and Gisajob.co.uk?
These are the sites that we as an IT recruitment agency use to search for people, especially if we have advertised the position and not had the right response. You are also welcome to send me a CV and I will see what I can do.
