Tekken 4 ... what refresh mode?

Got Tekken 4 on PS2.

On startup I'm offered :

50Hz
60Hz
Progressive Scan

My question is, is the third option for use with 100Hz televisions.
I have Philips CoolGreen 32in.
It does warn you that using Progressive Scan will screw your tv if its not compatible.

It should run a test before it swaps it over then asks if you wanna run it at this rate.

My copy of DOA does it.

My 100hz Toshiba 40inch won't run the progressive scan rate.I can run Tekken 4 at 60hz though!!!!

I don't think it checks on mine. But it does give a warning.
Best leave it on 60Hz for now then
