Who does the best "unlimited" access deals for us poor non-ADSL scum?

I have been with BT for ages but have just had my account terminated through overuse. Apparently I've used it over a 12hrs in a 24hr period a couple of times (not sure how ) and so must die. I had assumed that having been out of the country for a couple of months not using it at all might offset a few days overuse but obviously not.

So who does the best "unlimited" access package??

Net4Nowt list loads.

ClaraNet are quite good, but not v cheap. If you can, it's worthwhile getting Telewest as they're unmetered is very good. But then I suppose if you could get that you'd have a cable modem

I'd recommend Virgin.net

Damn BT - exactly the same with me, cutoff for overusing twice (over 2 years!)

I am now with plusnet on ISDN after reading reviews and can recommend them as much better than BT (and a £1 cheaper).

Support & features are excellent, connections are very good too.
8K/sec downloads, good pings etc.

The usage scheme is also generous and fair (compared to other so called unlimited ISP's)

Have used freeserve Anytime for a 18 months on ISDN. No problems at all. Occassionally its gets busy at peak times (i.e. 6-7 pm) but its usually short lived.

Hello

I use www.123isp.co.uk. It's not unlimited (350 hours per month) but they seem pretty good.

0800dial are ok service wise, always connect first time etc, and cost £12.99 a month. I too have used Virgin and been happy with them, but 0800 let you pay by direct debit, which I like, Virgin dont, (yet)
