Well, I received my copies of Toca and MOH from PC World yesterday, and have to say Toca Race Driver is actually pretty good, after I said I didn't like it.

The handling takes some getting used to, and the first BTCC races are a bit poo, but the general immersion is fairly good. Played in the pacific championship last night driving a WRX around Bathurst, Fuji, Aida etc and it was really quite good

The AI does seem very good, and other drivers do try and block you into bends which is nice. The actual racing is very good as well, not like in GT3 where you can storm off into the lead.

So far, quite impressed, but more arcade-y then a sim.

As for Medal of Honour - WOW!!!! What a game, and what a start - running on to the beach at first was superb. Just a pisser that you have to do each mission all the way through without being allowed to save

DW,

Glad you like TOCA, the Bathurst track in the mountain section is great. The first tier of racing is fairly easy, it gets harder in the second tier with the more powerful cars, the V8s are a bit to powerful for some of the tracks

Si.

I've spent hours on that crap at the NEC sportscar show trying to win the competition of getting the fastest lap of the day to win a PS2. Never played any driving game with such poor handling, the old Toca Touring car games werent as bad but this one was absolutely pants.
I can usually pick up on games within minutes of playing but TRD was so tricky. Disappointted with tehe grapics as well. Much preffer GT3.

MOH is FANTASTIC - Atmosphere is incredible - especially if you have surround sound... I'm at either the last or second to last level and it's a lot tougher than the earlier levels...

Is TOCA going to make it onto Xbox, or is it just PS2 and PC ?
