Best external CD writer for Apple iMac?

I bought mine for my PC (laptop), but I presume it'll work on a Mac since it's firewire. It's a LACIE CD/RW drive, and does 48x12x48.

Yep I'd stick with LaCie. Just be aware availability on thier stuff is pants at present. Formac is pretty good too. You've also got EZQuest and QPS to consider too.

Avoid like the plague Iomega and Amacom. The software they come bundled with is often pants.

Oh and many of the drives will be seen by the Mac but the latest versions of Toast 5 lite need OS 9.1 which isn't much good if you want to burn CDs !
