help win2k server problem!!

blue screen, saying: INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_CONTROLLER
have checked raid, everything reports back ok.
have tried safe boot, same thing, have tried last known good same thing, have tried safe boot command prompt same thing.
Have also tried booting off win2k cd, doing a recover, however says
"setup did not find any hard drives installed on this computer.
make sure you hard drives are powered up and connected properly ........ etc
any suggestions? this is our exchange2k server!!!!

Tools like NTFSDOS Professional v4.0 or NTRecover v1.0 from: http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/utilities.shtml may be of use ? (Cost option though)
NTFSDOS looks useful, read only version (free) might get you to the point where you can ID the problem, but if it is simply a duff Boot.ini you'll need the write version to fix it.

anyway to access the registry in dos?

Sorry, cannot offer anymore help here as I've never been where you are.
I'm thinking that once into the recovery console there must be a way to tell it you want to repair the system by passing it the scsi drivers. But how, yeah, well that is the problem.
I've never used the recovery console, so I'm clutching at straws. If you can access the drives at this stage can you not simply place the driver files onto the hard disk in the correct location ?
Also, with the ERD isn't their a Repair option ? Have you been through this and tryed to install 3rd party SCSI drivers ?
Pure guesswork I'm afraid.
