This one's been done to death - use the search facility for more info.

I would recommend the Colecovision or possibly the Atari Jaguar

Really ? You have a fully working browser and TCP/IP stack on an electron ! That is very cool in a seriously geeky way. You must be some sort of super-geek Tiggs . Please tell us the details.....

Gotta be a Dreamcast....will be an antique soon and worth a few pennies

What other console allows you to shake some maracas like an idiot ?
And you don't even need a modchip...those were the days.

Systema TV-boy. It's basically a handheld Atari 2600 that you plug into the TV. 128 games, and only 20 quid!

Gameboy web server?

The words "too much time on your hands" spring to mind.

DazV - you could at least give the real guy with too much time on his hands credit

Did a bit of googling and it appears people did write a TCP/IP stack for "econet" - The BBCs original network. Unfortunately the electron never had an econet interface but apparently you could configure an Archmidies (sp?) with both an econet and ethernet cards and creat a working router.

Still looking for an IP / PPP stack for the BBC so I can hook up my old hayes smartmodem 2400

I know you don't have quite that much time on your hands - it was rik who thought you might, anyway wasn't it on the register first ?
