user profiles / scripts in Win 2k server - HELP !

Hi,

at the moment make use of local profiles but they have obvious disadvantages.

ANybody know any good sites or references for profiles / login scripts / free programs which allow me to setup the win 2k pro environments for all LAN machines please ? Ideally I want something whereby the environment is the same for the logged on user regardless of machine he is logged on at. I've come across a program called profile maker which does some pretty clever things but not got a clue ow to use it !!

Also - LAN machines - which one : Win 2k pro or XP ?

2k.. all day long... drop me a mail at david.wallis@ventura-uk.com and Ill discuss your requirements with you.. as it could get quite involved.. depends on whether you want to have one profile and provide access to applications by just granting group memberships.. whether you want to copy files down when you login, whether you use citrix.. how you want to install printers, set the time, whether you want roaming or mandatory.. or a sort of roaming mandatory bodge..
