Question

Need to buy a PC very soon. My mate can't do me a deal on a Dell now, so I'm looking down other avenues.

Saw in the papers today a Time offer for an Athlon XP 2000+, with 512meg RAM 333 DDR, for £699 or a XP 2200+ with a few more upgrades for £899 (including VAT).

What's your opinions on these ? Are TIME not worth bothering with or are they actually alright machines ? I know aftersales is pants, but I'm not too bothered about that.

Cheers

Daz

I'd take a Mesh over a Time, choice of internal components is better from the reviews I've read.

If you or a mate can build up a pc from bits - you could save about £200 depending on spec by getting stuff from dabs or ebuyer.com etc...

I agree. Don't go near them. Mate of mine had one which was nothing but trouble. Build your own instead. That's what I'm gona do.

Wink

Thanks peeps.

Not sure I'd trust myself building a PC. It would be added to the "Needs to be finished" list I would imagine!

May have a look into Mesh or Evesham now then to see what they have to offer.
