Outlook rules question

I recieve a large number of automatic alerts/info e-mails to my account. I have an Outlook rule to move them to a specific folder based on sender.
need to keep the mails but its not me personally that has to react to them - so is it possible to have a rule which also Clears the "new mail" flag and marks the mail as read ?
