I have just reinstalled windows ME on my computer and now the spider game deals cards VERY VERY slowly. I have the same problem with my laptop.

It used to work just fine, has anyone any ideas as to the cause?

p.s. is digiguide's website down?

video card drivers may have been auto-detected and WinME got it wrong, or is using some super-slow generic driver.

Identify what video card you have (don't look at WinME for this) - find out from your computer's original documentation or suppliers

Goto the video card manufacturers website and download the latest drivers for WinME, then install them.

I am running nVidia Reference drivers, current as of April although I am going to try the very current ones tonight.

The graphics card is a TNT2 based one

is your monitor setup ok ?

anything running in the background (see task manager) like Anti-Virus program set to scan everything that moves ?

Just go into display properties > settings > advanced and check to see if its setup correctly to match the capabilities of your monitor

is your video card performance sluggish on the whole - eg when you play other games is it slow or just this game ?
