Hey it boffins i have windows XP pro but i cannot seem to power off my PC heard somewhere it could be due to the fact that i have a intel ham modem. there should be a soulution to this but i cannot find it anywhere anyone got the patch or solution

Do you mean shutting down the computer? i.e. it says something like "Its safe to turn off your pc" ??

I had the same problem on my machines, now they shut down fine with XP Pro installed.
