Basically if you have encoded, say, the latest Enrique Inglesias CD to your hard disk, you may have stored the tracks as 1.mp3, 2.mp3, 3.mp3, etc.

What the program does is connect to 2 of the big CDDB databases and allow you to search for your album you have just encoded, and then renames the files to the proper track names for you.

Its useful if you have encoded loads of stuff with programs that have not named trackas at the time by conencting tot he CDDB database.
