Went on PC and tried to launch NTL BB from Explorer.My PC seems to think it should be using dial up rather than LAN connection, and launched the AOL sign on screen(this was the ISP I was using before NTL ,which is still an active account)

I haven't changed any settings from last time I logged on, but the cable has been disconnected as I moved the PC.

Any ideas as to why it should do this? Do I loose connection settings if I disconnect the cable?

fyi, connection is via USB
