Thumbs up

The language for any part of the document can be changed, or set to none to disable proofing completely. This option can either be found under Tools - Language - Set language, or in the definition for the chosen Style.

Phil,

weird

You haven't somehow set the language wrong (it can be done on a per-paragraph basis)?

Try cutting the letter into Notepad (thus plain text) then re-paste into a brand new document to see if the problem still occurs. At least that way you will know whether it is an application or contents problem.

Go in to the options and in to spelling, i think you might of put a tick in the wrong place or not put a tick in the right place etc.
