Been given 2 broken 6210's so hoping to get 1 good one together.
One has been dropped in the bath, the other has a cracked screen.

Anyway - does anyone know where I can get a tool to get them apart. I've tried the smallest torx drive I can find but it's still too big.

Cheers

FJ

you can just about do it with an electrical driver and wedge it between two points of the torque, takes ages but works

the process for taking the 6210 apart is as follows
first take out your
and saw the top part of the phone off
then take out your
and hit the bottom piece of the phone as hard *** possible.

you may need to use a persuasion tool such as this

always ensure you use
when handling sharp tools

Try searching Ebay, there used to be many people selling the correct size torx on there.

You need a T6 Torx bit, it is only 5 screws which hold it together.

father_jack,

You can buy the Torx 6 driver from

http://www.mobilespares.co.uk/shtml/toolkits.shtml

There is a good set of instruction with pictures on how to dismantle a 6210 here

http://www.bluled.co.uk/6210change.htm

Have Fun.

Cheers,

Rob
