One of my guys created an identity thingy for Outlook 6 and can't remember his password.

Is there any way around it?

Bypassing his account or creating a new one comes up with empty folders.

Neither worked. These seemed designed to open files, rather than programmes.

you should be able to open the mailbox and the address book from another outlook id on the pc, then export both out to text or comma seperated file, then delete the old account, create a new one and then import the above text files and hey presto bobs your uncle.

You need to locate the .PST file for the above programs to work.....


do a search on the offending machine for "*.PST" without the quotes.....
