Default Best Joystick for PC

So bought ELite didn't play it as i don't have a joystick, well i have an old sidewinder but that's it.

Ive been looking at the Thrustmaster range and Saitek Hotas. anybody use any of them

I hear the CH is the best one but its too expensive..

I need it for Elite and Star Citizen

I've got the X55 and been using it for 8 months.

Two buttons have failed and it feels quite jerky to get off centre.

I'd look at the X52 PRO (not normal).

I'd have gone for the Warthog if it has yaw built in, but it is mega money (not that the X52 / 55 are cheap. . . . )

X52 pro without doubt. Takes some getting used to, but its as good as the PC gets.

I bought an old Saitek cyborg 3d thing. £15 off ebay. Works great for Elite. Shame I'm cr@p at it.
