When i use finder i find the way it display folders annoying... example from Windows

Id like an alphabetical list of Folders first, then Files after the folders. Mac doesn't do that it does alphabetical but on everything, you can't split folders from files ?

or can you ?

Took me ages to get the hang of the file system on IOS but it's actually fine; you can do what you want, I just can't remember how. I tend to wing it.

 

Click on 'Kind' and it will put folders in an alphabetical list.

 

If you don't have 'Kind' secondary click the finder window and choose view options.

 

ok done that its cool, Anyway i can get folders before files ?

Click it again, it's not a great way to sort stuff though, personally I go with modified, latest first.
