Modem Compatibility?

I have a Terayon Modem (TJ210), which is used on the NTL Broadband network.

I want to move over to Pipex ADSL. Would I be able to use my old modem on the Pipex network or will I need to purchase a new modem.

Paying too much with NTL. £25 (Inc £10 Line Rental) for 128k. With Pipex it's £23.44 for 512k.

NTL do provide 512k, but its £35 (Inc £10 Line Rental).

No you can't use the same modem.

remember with Pipex you are going to have to rent a BT line @ approx £10 per month so its not going to work out that much cheaper...

you got a cable modem. no can do with pipex. they want an external 33.6 modem.
