Hi.

My Voodoo3 3000 wont run my new game - Jedi Knight 2

Ive tried averything and it looks to be the video cards fault. Its not supported by the game anyway.

So, I'm rummaging round ebay for a replacement. It must be PCI as my motherboard had no AGP slot.

Whats the best PCI card to get? I've found a TNT2 M64 PCI with 32MB SDRAM (PV-T03B) is this any good?

Cheers.

No AGP limits your options big time.

I know Asus and Creative make a GeForce 2 MX on a PCI board, which will be much faster than the TNT2.

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal..._Video_56.html - scroll down to find the Creative for £65 + VAT.

Cheers Chris. How 'new' in terms of technology is this card. Will it be a lot faster than the TNT2? In terms of price, the TNT 2 could be mine for £40.

Is the TNT2 and old card?

I dont think theres any way to AGP land for me other than a new Mboard .

TNT2 new is about the £35 - £40 mark from looking at the pricing last week.

TNT2 is the generation before the GeForce.

What CPU do you have in the PC?

CPU might limit the card a bit then. GeForce will handle Jedi Knight much better though.
