IPad 2 wireless performance
My wife has an Ipad 2 (which tbf she hardly gets a chance to use coz the kids seem to monopolise it)
Recently the wifi performance has dropped of a cliff
We have two access points serving the front and rear of the house, nothing has changed with them - same config for the last year or two
All the other wifi devices in the house (including an IPad mini and a couple of IPhones) seem fine - I.e. no loss in performance whether at the front or rear of the house
Just this IPad - the signal never seems strong, unless physically next too the AP's
Never used to be like this - not sure what iOS it is running - as a rule I don't upgrade the OS - it is telling me that it wants to upgrade to 8.1 - but I don't have the space anyway
If I totally reset the device, what happens to the apps etc

Oooh, not adding more code Jack
Why would the wifi suddenly be crap - never used to be
Could I do a "hard" reset on the device - it does have a **** load of apps on it but nothing important

Best bet is to back up via iCloud on the device, then do a full reset from settings, in setup chose to restore from iCloud and you're done. I think it restores lots of important stuff but not everything.
