Default 128gig micro sd cards

Are they working in the most recent smartphones? As its a fair chunk to pay out and find they won't go past 64gig.

Having my entire music collection on my phone in a high bit rate and still have space for photos and apps sounds very tempting.

One reason why I'm disuaded from getting another iPhone...mines 16gig and, well, its pathetically restrictive.

If anyone has tried this on a Xperia Z1 Compact, I'd like to know.

Apps don't run to external sd card unless its a rooted phone, I have a 64 gig card which is full of music and video.

128gig still won't come close to my music collection

Ali get the 64 gig iphone as that's what I have and its filled with apps music and photo

Here's the thing...that'll cost me at least £130 as a upgrade. Z1 compact - will cost me nothing as a upgrade on my existing contract and a 64gig sdxc is £42.

Even if every song you have is 10MB, that's about 13107 songs, assuming you purchased them legally .. lets say for a £1 each .. that's a lot

Although my music collection is large in my mind , its nothing compared to the above (a few thousand) , isnt having 13000+ songs just the same as listening to the radio ?

What i wasnt aware of though were the SD Card restriction changes in Kitkat! what a ridiculous thing to do and also a complete pain in the ****. I now have to dump large files on the phone and then use the Samsung file manager (my files) to move it from the phone to the SD card as no application is allowed to do it anymore, (well not without rooting and another app) Fortunately My Files is a pretty decent app now as its been updated.
