might be something to do with the semi-permanent connection to direct-connect . I'll try shutting it down temporarily this evening.

Thanks, but it isn't that .. run a smoothwall firewall/router for internal networking.

some isps (mine included - freedom 2 surf) are oversucribed with there bt connections due to excessive use of edonkey/audio galaxy/kazaa etc so are closing the ports down to those servers.

Ive been having probs with most p2p programs and found a statement to the above on there site, gonna stay that way till they can get more bandwidth off bt.

Ive just got into Audiogalaxy and have the following questions

Is there any restriction on how many tracks u can download

Can u delete from your satelite after downlosding (downloaded a few that were poor quality or crap versions and dont want them anymore)

The downloaded tracks are stored on my c drive as well as being on my satelite, I presume its not strictly legal to burn these to disc.

I also hear that AG are being taken to court like Napster were, the music industry is trying to shut them down.

If you want to delete them just remove them from the folder on your c drive and they should vanish from the web site when you surf there as well.

On the subject of file limits there is an amount, cant remember how many exactly, but its about 3 pages worth of pending downloads.

Audio galaxy are being taken to court, but its a little more complex than napster, because the name which is owned by a dutch chap is being taken to court, BUT he has actually sold the site and program to a company from the asia-pacific region, so they will probably just change there name and continue untill they are tracked down.

really? are you behind a firewall on your cable modem? (audio galaxy requires certain ports be open).
