Default Problem cleaning my inside rear window..

Im having trouble getting the inside of the back window clean. Ive used various window cleaners to no avail. There appears to be some kind of hardened "resin" everywhere (and only on the back screen) that does come away, but only after rubbing quite hard. Im worried that with the force Im using, I will damage the heated rear screen wires. I dont think its a tint, but wondered if anyone could suggest a cleaner that wont damage the heater wires and dont need too much effort.. (Im lazy)
cheers in advance.

If your still having trouble, post a pic (the best you can) and might be able to help.

Also, what have you tried to remove it with? IPA? Tar Remover? Glass Polish?

I've just done the rear window on my classic as it was covered in thick tint glue.

I used Autosmart Tardis and non-scratch sponges from asda, came off a treat and the demister still works fine, and I gave it some serious scrubbage
