Mistral is the retail name used by a company called R&D Laboratories in N Ireland (Antrim). They do a host of trade products from Bleaches right through to their automotive range which includes TFR, Alloy cleaner and several levels of Snow foam, the Mistral 100 being the mildest, as they do up to a 400 series to the best of my knowledge.....
I got Autobrites Snow Foam with my lance, but moved to the Mistral stuff as it was local and didnt cost the earth, no problems to report to date with their product range though it is more commercial than retail based...think they also trade on Ebay AFAIK

This is the company, they are just up the road from me:
http://shop.autobritedirect.co.uk/
I have used it, works well, If I remeber rightly when i bought it the guy said it was PH balanced and 1oz per gallon (Yank product i`m guessing?) Freindly guy if you give him a call he`ll answer whatever you need. No idea how it would compare to the stuff you guys use John.

@ John, not 100% certain matey, but back in work on friday and will call by and see if I can speak to one of their sales people.....am thinking that the Snowfoam 100 will dilute 100:1, Snowfoam 200, 200:1 etc etc, but not sure if it's PH balanced.....I do know that they are selling over the counter to trade and well known customers at £3 for 5 litres !!!!!! and have the ability to ship in up to IBC sized pallets of any product .......

I'll stick with Hyper Wash at 400:1 - I know it does the job!
(Price per litre of it at £29.95 for 3.78litres : 0.019 pence per litre
At 50:1 (though I suspect, but can't confirm, that 25:1 is standard strength) the other snow foam, at 5litre size, incl product and shipping is 0.049 pence per litre.)

Totally agree to stick with a tried and tested product, but as a regular user I am getting the snow foam @ £3 for 5 litres with no postage costs, as I can call in a collect it (I also use Megs Hyperwash) ...so am not knocking the Megs product at all.....though it's a cheap and effective snowfoam at the price IMHO
