Default Very white Hatch cleaned up

I don't see many reports of actual cleaning going on, so hope you don't mind me sharing this one with you.

A fellow Subaru owner recently asked if I could help him out detailing his car. He noted that he took good care of his car, washing it up to twice a week, but wanted it back to looking its best.
Met up, then the worry set in, how was I going to get it looking better than he already kept it. It was very clean !! After a chat and plenty of looking at the paint he explained he wanted the swirls as best as could get removed...which have to say were there but mostly light.

So, a few weeks later, the car is dropped off.
Said not to bother washing it as the weather the way it is just now would need done again anyways :

Washed (correctly - 2BM) and clayed.

Swirls on a white car aren't easy to capture, add in my rubbish camera work and not sure if you can actually make them out (slightly easier to see if you look at the top light source on each pic) ??

which when taken out (if you can tell!)

to leave this (just the machine polishing done at this stage )

Then added some Werkstatt (told by many this is the best for a white car)

meanwhile he had been working his own abilities (rather impressively if I do say so) under the bonnet - and this is with 25k on the clock !

..and finally wheeled outside, unfortunately in fading light

Excuse my picture taking, I need to work out how I am so bad at using a camera !! The car actually looked even better in the metal, maybe the poor light at this time of year ??!

I did, yes. Would've liked to have been able to stick to a Lake Country finishing pad but for the most of it just didn't feel it got enough out so light cut it was.

I don't profess to be hugely knowledgeable with the old pc but I'd say it was medium from limited experience. Found the roof a little, well, sticky. Other than that it wasn't too bad.
Okay so not 100% (is that possible??), but a lot did come out with the 203 and was really looking just for the one pass given time. Was basically the combo pb told me to go with, boy they're good !

The owner himself spent the time on the engine bay. Combo of tardis & neat shampoo. Finished with autoglym show shiine. The engine when new comes with a layer of green goo sprayed over it to protect it. The only thing that touched it was tardis, consulted PB about it at the time (so helpful).

Show Off | January 2010 Winner
Needless to say Barry (owner) and I were well pleased at these guys acknowledging our efforts - that's a big compliment!

Thanks as always to the pb team for putting up with what seems like my never ending list of questions for them, always very well answered.....usually accompanied with an order though !

Our pleasure - cheers for the entry, and no, it wasn't a quiet month. You beat more than a dozen other entries, so well done both of you.
