How do I find a reputable person ?
My Forester could really do with a good clean and polish, exterior only.
How do I go about finding someone local who will do a good job or is it the lucky pin in yellow pages ? Secondly, never having had this done before, what should I expect to have to pay ?
Hope that this is not too basic a question but I have to start somewhere.
Cheers and thanks.

You could have a look over on Detailing World, there's a list somewhere on there of Detailers in your area (these are paid up pro's usually I think). Could also sign up and post in your Area section if you find the advertised guys too expensive for what you want done and see if there are any others suitables.
Know what you'd like out of the work before asking around as it can get expensive.
Word of mouth is also a very good source of someone who has impressed a previous customer, perhaps a friend/friend of friend/relative/etc - so ask about your area also.
Maybe even a keen and able fello Subaru owner may be able to help you out if your lucky just by posting the question on here??

No one on my radar in the Rutland area, so as the other suggest, best to take a look in the appropriate regional section on Detailing World, and then check out the portfolio's of the suggested detailers.
