Default flat buffing product advice.

How do fella's

I've just painted my scooby, and saturday i will be giving it a flat and polish.

Now, the usual course of action is 1500 on a da with softpad, 3000's again softpad then G3 followed by 3m's white top not sure of the correct name but its a very fine compound. After this i'm going to use the megs stage 1 2 3.

Being a painter im not big into this polishing lark lol, but its my car and my fresh paint so now its my baby.

Any advice or info will be helpful, I can use a buffer without a problem. Im just not 100% sure which products are the best to use.

When you come to the flatting back and polishing out stage, I would suggest that you would find it far easier and quicker using better quality polishes than G3 and the 3M white top. If 3M is easy for you to get hold of, then Fast Cut Plus (green top) and Ultrafine SE (blue top) would be easier and would offer a superior finish. Another option would be Menzerna 203S followed by Menzerna 85RE, although these are only available online. Better in every respect mind.
