Default Suede steering wheel

Has anyone got any tips for cleaning a suede steering wheel? my OMP one has been on for about a year and is looking very grubby indeed

Unfortunately if the suede has been flattened i dont think you can restore it. Could always try some sellotape to remove the dirt. Or the sheets of sticky stuff on the Lint rollers you use on clothing

Suede wheels ideally need driving gloves to make them last.

Maybe a light brushing with some luke warm water may help to lift the material unless there is anything else on the market designed for the job ?

As above; generally there is little that can be done, but a light brushing with a Meguiars Triple Duty Detailing Brush and a limited amount of 303 Fabric & Vinyl Cleaner (which is suede safe) may improve things a wee bit.

I'm with Rich from PB on this one- My Caterham has a suede Momo steering wheel and the Megs Detailing brush certainly got rid of the majority of the dirt/grime off whilst restoring some of the 'fluffiness'. I used it in conjunction with some warm water and Megs Hyper wash. Just don't brush it too hard or you'll destroy the suede!
I then patted it down with a mf cloth and used a hair dryer on a low heat to remove the residual moisture.
