F*****G DOOR CHIPS!!!
ALright Chaps,
I'm always Uber careful when getting in and out of the car when it is in the garage (and have a carpet on the wall to make sure if I do hit that it won't make an **** of the door) but had it in my bro's garage this week as we were trying to fix a brake problem.......
Anyway, ******** here got in last night to take it out and caught the wall with the door and took a couple of tasty looking chips out of the paint...right on the edge of the door!
Has anybody got any tips/tricks or best ways to try fill it up and paint?
Cheers,
Chris

All you can really do is use a fine artist's brush to add in a colour base, then multiple layers of clear until the height is restored and the chips sealed. You can flat back on edges safely, so I wouldn't attempt this. If you use a heat gun to gently flash off each paint layer the process will be speeded up, and the fresh paint should cure enough to remain in place firmly. The only proper fix is to respray the panel, but with a little patience you should be able to effect a reasonable repair.
