Default Will I get it wet?

Hi guys,

Can I expect a wet finish if I clay then apply Blackfire Midnight Sun Ivory Carnauba Paste Wax?

I’ve recently used a mild polish and applied a wax protector (mind you these were my old Halford’s “Wonder” range products), which I’m guessing aren’t great. It did however smooth the paint out and give a pretty good finish.

I’m looking for a wet look, but on a budget. Any ideas would be appreciated?

Sonic Blue 03 WRX
Thanks,

Not sure

But my routene for Sonic blue is

Clay - then correct paint with Menzerna Intensive Polish then either use final polish 2 or jeffs prime strong then use blackfire gloss enhancing polish then use black fire wet diamond sealent (2 coats) then finally 2 coats of the Ivory paste wax black diamond

Yes, I'm loving the shine.

I'm guessing that I'll need some wet sealent too?

Depends as after the polishing stage you can put the ivory wax on but IMO you seem to get a better finish with a sealent underneith

Also gives that extra protection and in boiling hot summer days I wouldnt use the ivory wax in summer as it doesnt have as high melting point as the sealent does

Each to there own I guess

I love how the ivory wax goes on its dead easy and comes off a treat to

Unlike the sodding jeffs range - right pain in the ***

On WR Blue, a good wet look on a tight budget = Poorboys Black Hole Glaze topped with Poorboys Natty's Red Paste Wax. A better wet look on a larger budget = Blackhole Gloss Enhancing Polish topped with Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection. For maximum wetness and gloss (and to hell with the budget), I'd go with the full Blackfire system, i.e. Gloss Enhancing Polish, then Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection, then the Midnight Sun. Lovely piccies above!
