I was going to finally get round to ordering a foam lance from PB but they don't have any megs hyper wash in stock, what else can I use? Does the foam lance produce enough 'foam' from say my poor boys shampoo?

dont see why not. i have used some real cheap stuff from my foam lance and had no issues. work well, used on a rental van.

I use snow foam its good stuff.

very strong tho, not great for wax etc

I ran out of my normal snow foam and added some megs gold class to tide me along...works great

Bilt Hamber's 'Autofoam' I think it's called or
Autosmart's Durafoam. Have heard good things about these
products across on Detailing World.
