Its kinda addictive collating these cleaning products. I am a clean tidy type of person so has to have a clean car. My mum says 'the Queen could sit in my car'...ahh bless.

i find that pretty much the same as nattys for the hard. only can be applied by applicator. the soft waxes are soft enough to apply by hand. however i still prefer to apply by applicator. i apply all my soft waxes by applicator. have a choice of:

z***l creme,
z***l glasseur,
Dodo Rainforrest Rub,
Dodo Purple Haze,
Dodo Light Fantasic,
Soon to have Dodo Supernatural.

Hard waxes are:

Nattys White,
Nattys Blue,
Dodo Blue Velvet,
Soon to have Dodo White Diamond.

Other Waxes i have are:

Poorboys QW+
Mothers Advanced Reflections car wax,
Werkstatt carnuba kit.

Protection wise i also have:

Poorboys EX-p
Mothers Advanced Reflections Top Coat.

Glazes:

Poorboys Black Hole,
Poorboys Diamond White.

Sure there are some more

Cheers for that info... Out of the dodo juice and Blackfire what will give a wetter looking finish and will still give good flake?

the blue velvet layered with the purple haze would work very nicely. about £30 a pot for each. one or the other would be fine though. would suggest the blue velvet for durability. just shout and we can try a layer of each. could also give supernatural a go. but that's £95 a pot if you wanted to buy it. dodo do refils of the supernatural which is about £65 for when you run out.

Sounds good...

My try it next time fella.

How does it compare to the Blackfire? For £95 I would hope better, which is saying something!

Have heard great stuff about it as well and had some put on my spoiler when dotndave did a small detail on my scoob. The tight git wouldnt do the whole car

Anyway it went on very well and looked nice when wiped and buffed, though if I was honest it didnt look any better than the BF Midnight sun I put on later, especially as it is 3 x the price of the BF stuff

anyway stop yapping you lot and post up some pics of your kit

Here`s some of my Swissvax collection, I also have loads of other stuff too, my shed looks rather like SwissTonys (but without the T-Cut ) with everything neatly stored on shelves.

will sort pics out of kit tonight. have to get everything together ready for the weekend.

I had £*** taken off me already. TBH it was an bit of a detail and machine polishing tutorial combined. Myself and olliecampbell wanted to see how it was done and also to pick up some tips on the best way to use the PC I had etc. He did a very good job but didnt get as much of the rids and swirls out as I would have liked.

I need to get the time now to really attack the car as I want it to be pretty damn spotless and the only way I see that happening is if I get 2 clear days to do it

Looking forward to seeing the pics of your collection, must be good for a pro

that's not a bad idea, a little tutorial and mini detail.

if you really want to get it spotless, wetsand the whole car with 2000 grit, then 3000 grit and follow up with 4000 grit if you can get it. then polish back up with menz rd3.02 followed with mens final finish II. then seal with poorboys ex-p and then wax with a decent wax. will take you more than 2 days and don't do it unless yo uhave access to a ptg.

unfortunately some of my kit is missing and still waiting to be replaced. as it was swipped with the PC. thought it was only the pc in the case but since been looking for bits and realising they were in there.

Still a decent size kit. as you say one of everything you need. have you tried layering the natty's over the aqua wax? just wondered what it came out like if you have?

Good advice mate
I may have to avail myself of your services

One thing I do need to borrow off someone is a PTG, as I have no idea of any of the thickness of the paint anywhere on the car , be it new or old paint.
So anything done so far is done with a bit of trepidation and the softly softly approach which frankly is a bit girly and pants
