Carbon fiber woes
No matter what I use I cannot get the carbon lip on my spoiler looking how it should.
Ive tried polishes and waxes etc etc and it always seems to go white.
Any advice?

This may be of no use but have a flick through here and look
for the post that Clark put up re. his red evo detail. Certain that
there was plenty of carbon action there; see what he used ?
Sorry I can't help any more mate
Craig.

I was wondering if it was raw; why else would it fade and turn white? Might be worth scrubbing with P21S Total Auto Wash and then dressing it weekly with 303 Aerospace Protectant - this should clean it well and then protect it properly. If it is a raw weave, then getting it lacquered would make sense.

It looks like the lacquer has faded away.
Underneath you can see the Carbon is quite shiny and smooth but on top it is rough and raw like.
Ive managed to put a few coats of wax on that has helped, and it brought a nice flake pop on the rear spoiler. Bonus
Will have to get it lacquered in time.
