Default Silver Scooby Detail

I was asked to detail this scooby for a magazine shoot that the owner has tomorrow.

Ok so it wasn't the worst that i've seen. The worst bit being the inside of the exhaust, wheels and around the exhaust cut out on the bumper.

So the process used was,

rinse,
foam and soak,
rinse,
foam,
wash with 2 bucket method,
rinse,
dry,
claybar.
rinse,
foam,
rinse,
dry,
hd cleanse applied with porta cable,
glaseur wax applied with wax applicator,
mothers reflections advanced top coat,
exhasut and wheels cleaned with megs super degreaser,
exhaust polished with megs nxt metal polish,
wheels sealed with creame wax,
glass cleaned with autoglym fast glass,
trim cleaned with autoglym bumper care,
tyres dressed with megs hot rims.

some pics:

The afters:

and my favourite shot that's so hard to get on silver:

paintwork looked quite good, not many swirls etc by the look of it.
Lovely finish though cracking reflections you got there

cheers. very few swirls, i was very impressed. there was nothing that wouldn't appear after a month or so.

the owner looks after the car really well and it was more a case of get it extra clean and then he'll maintain it.

cheers for the comments guys.

stu - i really like the zymol. glasur is great to work with and i love using creame on the wheels. ok so it's a bit expensive to be putting on wheels but it gives a great finish.

yup still a spoiler at the moment. i've booked weds afternoon off work to despoiler it. first attempt at wetsanding

lol. i did place the order late on the 7th.

it does look good. i didn;t buy the ivory wax this time as i only meant to order the hyper wash and super degreaser. ended up spending £125 i've got a fair few different waxes so i'll do some testing on my car use a different wax over the top on different panels to see what else will work. have a couple of differnt zymols and a couple of poorboys ones that i can give a go.

Cheers for the order and the feedback! Yep, stupid busy at the moment, really can't cope some days, hence why I'm not on here as much as I'd like at the moment. Can't complain though!
